Manafort Brothers, Inc. is proud to announce that we received the 2025 Silver Award for Horizontal Construction Design-Build at the DBIA 2026 Awards Gala and Dinner on Thursday, January 29, 2026, for the Terminal 5 Pier & Dredging Project at the Port of Davisville.

Delivered in partnership with WSP USA and Quonset Development Corporation, this project marked Rhode Island’s first new heavy commercial pier in nearly 70 years and the owner’s first-ever design-build delivery.

Through close collaboration, innovative construction methods, and real-time problem-solving, the team successfully completed the 720-foot-long pier, along with associated marine infrastructure, on time and without disrupting active port operations—strengthening Rhode Island’s maritime and economic future!
