Manafort to continue partnership with TRICON for NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series

TRICON Garage (TRICON) is pleased to announce that Call Before You Dig, Inc. (CBYD) and Manafort Brothers, Inc. will return to partner with the championship-winning organization for the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series (NCTS) race at Lime Rock Park. CBYD, a Connecticut-based non-profit dedicated to promoting excavation safety, will serve as the primary partner on Tanner Gray’s No. 15 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro for the series’ second-ever outing at the famed venue.

CBYD is a free service available to anyone planning excavation work in Connecticut, providing critical information about the location of underground utility pipes and cables at proposed work sites. Its one-call notification system plays a critical role in preventing damage to underground utilities during excavation projects, ensuring the safety of communities and individuals.

Joining CBYD as co-sponsors of the No. 15 entry are Manafort Brothers and CWPM Waste Removal & Recycling Services. Manafort Brothers is a nationally recognized leader in construction and transit infrastructure, while CWPM is a trusted provider of waste removal and recycling services for communities in Connecticut and Rhode Island.

“Partnering for a second year with TRICON Garage is a great opportunity to connect with fans while reinforcing the importance of safe digging,” said Christopher Tralli, President of CBYD. “We’re proud to join Manafort Brothers, Inc. and CWPM Waste Removal & Recycling to sponsor the No. 15 truck driven by Tanner Gray. CBYD is excited to expand awareness of the ‘Call Before You Dig’ message among a wider audience and ensure safety remains top of mind across our communities.”

Gray, a third-generation racer and the longest-tenured driver at TRICON, scored a top-15 finish at the inaugural Lime Rock Park event in 2025. Throughout his seven-year NCTS career, Gray has secured 33 top-10s, 13 top-fives and a career-best runner-up finish on two occasions.

The Artesia, N.M., native’s diverse racing background includes a NHRA Pro Stock Championship, becoming the youngest driver to secure a professional series title in NHRA history before transitioning to stock-car racing. He has since collected two ARCA Menards Series wins as well as an ARCA East Series victory. Last season, the 26-year-old tied his career-high in the final NCTS championship standings while also recording a runner-up finish at Pocono Raceway.

“I’m thrilled to return to Lime Rock Park alongside CBYD, Manafort Brothers and CWPM,” said Gray. “Having it be a home race for them adds an extra layer of motivation for all of us. I feel like I’ve made a lot of strides in my road racing over the last few seasons, so getting another shot at Lime Rock is something I’ve had circled on the calendar. TRICON was strong here last season, so I’m hoping we can put together a strong run and give them a finish they can be proud of.”

The LiUNA 150 from Lime Rock Park will be televised live on FS1 on Saturday, July 11 at 1:00 P.M. ET, with radio coverage provided by the NASCAR Radio Network and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.

MBI, Manafort Transit, Quonset Development Corp., and WSP in the U.S. Earn Recognition for New Quonset Pier Infrastructure Investment

By: Steven J. King

At Quonset Business Park, our success is made possible in large part by the state-of-the-art infrastructure we provide for companies here who depend on it. Our commitment to that infrastructure makes it especially meaningful to see the Port of Davisville’s Terminal 5 Pier and Blue Economy Support Docks recognized with the 2025 Silver Award for Horizontal Construction Design-Build from the New England chapter of the Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA).

The award reflects more than technical excellence. It represents what can be achieved through strong partnerships. Terminal 5 was delivered through a design-build collaboration between the Quonset Development Corp., Manafort Brothers, Inc., and WSP in the U.S.

Together, the team constructed Rhode Island’s first new heavy commercial pier in nearly 70 years — a 720-ft., multi-berth facility built in the middle of an active port environment. The project was completed on time and without disruption to operations at the Port of Davisville, Rhode Island’s only public port and one of North America’s Top 10 auto importers.

The project’s success was the result of careful coordination and a shared commitment to solving challenges in real time. The Manafort and WSP teams each displayed a deep technical expertise that made for a seamless partnership. The DBIA recognition is a testament to that partnership and the timely completion of this important new port infrastructure.

Terminal 5 strengthens the Port of Davisville’s ability to handle roll-on/roll-off cargo and heavy high-wide freight while also creating new opportunities for small and growing maritime companies. It adds flexible docking capacity that supports research and development, product testing and the next generation of Blue Economy innovation.

Companies at Quonset make long-term investments based on one critical question: Will the infrastructure be there when they need it? Our charge is to ensure the answer is always yes.

Today, the Quonset Business Park supports more than 15,000 jobs across more than 260 companies, including one of every four manufacturing jobs in Rhode Island. That growth is not accidental. It is the direct result of sustained, strategic investment in modern port and rail facilities, convenient roadway access and reliable utilities that allow businesses to scale with confidence.  The support over the decades from our partners in government at the local, state and federal levels is indispensable to this success, as well.

The DBIA award is an honor. But more importantly, it signals that we continue to leverage the right partnerships to sustain our long-term commitment to delivering for the businesses that call Quonset home.

Steven J. King, P.E. is the managing director of the Quonset Development Corp., North Kingstown, R.I.

Manafort and Skanska Win 2025 DBIA Gold Award for Horizontal Construction Design-Build

Manafort Brothers, in Joint Venture with Skanska, along with our design partner HNTB is proud to announce we received the 2025 Gold Award for Horizontal Construction Design-Build at the DBIA 2026 Awards Gala and Dinner on Thursday, January 29, 2026, for the Rhode Island Department of Transportation I-95 Providence Viaduct Northbound Replacement Project. This complex, large-scale infrastructure effort involved the full replacement of the seven-span I-95 northbound viaduct, along with the replacement, widening, and rehabilitation of 10 additional bridges within one of Rhode Island’s most heavily traveled corridors, carrying more than 200,000 vehicles per day.

Through innovative traffic staging, advanced engineering, and close collaboration with RIDOT and project partners, the design-build team successfully delivered a new 1,290-foot viaduct bridge, featuring express lanes, collector-distributor lanes, and improved on-ramp connections—significantly enhancing safety, traffic flow, and regional mobility. This award recognizes the team, along with the Rhode Island Department of Transportations commitment to excellence, innovation, and integrated project delivery on one of the state’s most critical transportation infrastructure projects.
