Manafort Brothers Donate Bikes to U.S. Marines Toys for Tots

We’d like to express our heartfelt thanks to everyone in our extended Manafort Family for their tremendous generosity and support of the Toys for Tots bike drive. This year, as in previous years, was a huge success – together we donated 46 bikes and helmets!

Special thank you to Jesse Garuit, Michelle Brandon and Nick Manafort who coordinate this event every year, and to Norm Pelletier and his team for going through every bike and making sure they are in perfect working condition before they are delivered to the Marnie’s. Thank you!

MANAFORT BROTHERS HOLDS RIBBON CUTTING FOR NEW ADDITION

Local dignitaries joined over 50 Manafort Brothers employees for a ribbon cutting ceremony and celebration marking the completion of their recent office addition on Friday, October 4th at the corporate headquarters in Plainville. The two-story expansion created an additional 4,800 square feet of office and conference room space to accommodate the continued growth of Manafort Brothers.

The ribbon cutting comes at the end of the company’s centennial celebration. What began in 1919 as the New Britain House Wrecking Company by James Manafort is now the oldest demolition company in the Northeast. Manafort Brothers has established a superior reputation as a highly skilled, dynamic construction and demolition contractor.
“It’s exciting to showcase our continued growth and expansion and our commitment to the community,” said Jim Manafort, President of Manafort Brothers. “Plainville and New Britain have been good neighbors to us for 100 years, supporting us and working with us to help us continue to expand.”
Growth was the theme of the celebration, as Manafort Brothers also marked the continued success of Manafort Precision, its concrete building group located in Worcester MA, and the recent announcement of Manafort Transit. This newest group will work primary in the Northeast, focusing on rail, mass transit and heavy civil projects.
