Located on the corner of Landsdowne Street and Ipswich Street, the MGM Fenway Theatre is a 5,000 seat music hall venue that is connected to the Northeast side of the historic Fenway Park.
Manafort-Precision was selected to perform the concrete work for the new music hall including the cast in place concrete foundations, foundation walls, waterproofing, slabs on grade, slabs on metal deck, topping slabs and housekeeping pads, as well as all concrete work for the site finishes. The location of this building and its small site footprint in a congested urban area required extensive coordination, communication, and scheduling with all project trades and stakeholders.
Manafort’s experience working in urban environments, coordinating work, and commitment to safety, ensured that all of the proper controls were planned and implemented to facilitate the safe, successful, on-time, and on-budget completion of our work.
